She began her pre-professional dance training at the age of 10 at the Sarasota Ballet School with Wendy Johnson and other faculty, and joined Sarasota Ballet’s Margaret Barbieri Conservatory at 11. She then trained with Isabel and Javier Dubrocq for five years, and spent her summers attending San Francisco Ballet, The Washington Ballet, and Ballet West summer programs. In 2020, Sarah became a Richmond Ballet trainee, and spent two years performing with the company in professional productions of the Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet. She also performed the Summer Fairy variation from Malcolm Burn’s Cinderella, Swanhilda’s Friends Dance from Coppelia, and various other new works in the trainee showcases, as well as Aurora in the School of Richmond Ballet’s showcase of the Sleeping Beauty. In 2022, she became a senior trainee at Richmond Ballet, and worked with the company in covering their Studio 1 production. Also, she performed in the professional productions of Ma Cong’s Firebird and George Balanchine’s Serenade. This is Sarah’s first season with Ballet Frontier and she is excited to be teaching at Ballet Center of Fort Worth.
