Pre-Professional Workshop

About BCFW's Pre-Professional Workshop:

This Workshop will focus on each student's individual and unique needs to develop both ballet technique and artistry while learning classical variations. Ballet Center's Artistic Director, Ms. Enrica, will train each student in a nurturing and positive environment to encourage personal and professional growth. This program will include an hour-and-a-half ballet technique class and an hour-and-a-half pointe/variations class on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. In these classes, Ms. Enrica will focus on giving detailed corrections and encouragement to each student. The Workshop will run from Monday, September 9th through Wednesday, November 13th.

The Workshop will need a minimum of 6 students registered and a maximum of 12 to give each student the proper amount of attention.

After the first five weeks of the Workshop, the class will be evaluated by Ballet Frontier's Artistic Staff and selected Company Dancers. This evaluation is to provide another perspective to the dancers as they continue to work on their technique and artistry. During the 10th week, the Artistic Staff and selected Company Dancers from Ballet Frontier will give the students a final evaluation.

Parents will be invited to a small performance on Wednesday, November 13th from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
